About the event
We will be meeting at 11am at Ms Mariola’s house.
Kids will learn about bees, how they make honey, and get to see their work up close through an observation hive. Kids will see a bee under a microscope, and get to try on a beekeeping suit if they’d like.
Snacks and play time to follow.
What to bring: water, a packable lunch/snack, weather appropriate clothes.
NOTE: LRD Tshirt required as dress code for LRD members, and strongly encouraged for non-members. Tshirts are $20. Hats are optional, $15. T-shirts and hats will be available to purchase in person. Please bring cash.
