Service Description

Homeschoolers- join us for the experience of a lifetime! In this 8 session unit, children will learn from local business guest presenters, and complete a basic children's entrepreneurship course accompanied by a workbook to help them organize their thoughts and plan their own business. At the end of the unit, we will host a Children's Business Fair where our young entrepreneurs will put their ideas into action and sell their products or services to the community! Our last day will be a recap day, where we will analyze how our businesses did in the fair, discuss what we learned, and what we can improve for next time! Our young entrepreneurs will learn how to: - Conduct basic market research - Create a business plan - Set prices - Track expenses - Write an advertisement - Create a flier - Plan their booth - Talk to customers - Handle money and transactions - Calculate their profit 10:30-12:00 Entrepreneurship Club 12:00-12:30 Lunch Homeschool Session Dates: 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26 (recap day) Business Fair: Sunday, 1/22 from 2:00-5:00pm at Boston Rhythmic in Westborough Ages: 7-15 Students will be expected to work on their businesses at home if needed. For the most part, inventory will likely need to be made at home. Parents, please be prepared to support your child at home as needed. NOTE: By signing up for this session, you are signing up for all session dates listed above. There will be no refunds for missed classes.
