Teen Leadership Program

We are so excited to offer a leadership opportunity for teens at our North Easton location! In this 3 month program, teens will gain leadership skills, confidence, and organizational skills while working with our younger community members and assisting in the classroom and community room. Teens will learn about child development, effectively leading a group, planning and implementing activities, and contributing to a positive learning environment by facilitating trust and team building activities.
Teens will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of the Life Rediscovered Director and Senior Staff- community members with extensive and inspiring leadership experience. Teens will utilize our Leadership Workbook, designed to help them process their experience, as well as receive weekly homework assignments and reflections on relevant subject matter and discussions. Graduates of the program will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation.
Only 2 spots are available in this program- one in the Community Room, and one in our Day Program. Applications are due by March 5th. The top 4 applicants will be invited to an interview, so we can best asses qualities that would integrate well with the children and staff at Life Rediscovered.
The teen leadership program starts on Thursday March 16th, and ends on Thursday May 25th. No class on April 27th (vacation week).
Cost of the 3 month leadership program is $300.
